Approval of the Minutes of February 18, 2025 Planning Meeting
New Business:
- Public Hearing: STORM KING ASSOCIATES, LLC, 2 Idlewild Ave ( 102-11-9 ) seeks site plan approval to make alterations to the existing theater, to construct a new 28 foot by 20 foot accessory structure, to install new fencing, landscaping, and exterior lighting, and to install accessible parking and a walkway in the rear of the building.
- Continuation of Cornwall Development, LLC, 261 Shore Road ( 101-1-9 ) is seeking to subdivide the 20 acre lot into 17 lots with a detached single-family dwelling on each lot, major subdivision. Access to the new lots shall be provided with a ±1500 ft street with a cul-de-sac. The project shall be connected to the public water and sewer system.
- Pre-application meeting: STORM KING SCHOOL – DYAR HALL, 314 Mountain Road
( 122-1-3.22 ) Proposed renovation of a 32’ x 92.5’ one-story building and a new 72’ x 104’ addition.
- Dock Hill Road Connector Trail. The Village of Cornwall on Hudson has declared its intent to serve as the Lead Agency for the Dock Hill Road Connector Trail. This project (a NY Forward Application/Award) proposed by the Village to construct 2,500 LF trail will allow for a safe pedestrian connection between Donahue Farm and the Village’s waterfront (Donahue Park). It also includes 900 LF of existing trail to be repaired.

PLANNING BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Planning Board of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 25, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Hall, 325 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson to consider the application of STORMKING ASSOCIATES, LLC (the “Applicant), concerning the property located at 2 Idlewild Avenue, Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York 12520 (the “Property”). The Property is located in the SR zoning district and the CBS overlay district.
The Applicant is seeking an approval for a site plan for the Property to make alterations to its existing theater, to construct a new accessory structure, to install new fencing, landscaping and exterior lighting, and to install accessible parking and a walkway in the rear of the building.
The application materials and plans may be inspected at the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Building Department, 260 Shore Road, Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
