Per Orange County Planning Department: "The Planning Department has not had these maps certified by the municipality as being accurate and up to date, and therefore they are not guaranteed to be a representation of the zoning map currently in use by the municipality".

Due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the ZBA will NOT be meeting in person. In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 202.1, the May 14, 2020 ZBA public hearing will be held via videoconferencing and telephone conference call, and a transcript will be available at a later date. David and Peggy Kammen 65 Duncan Avenue- Applicants are requesting variances from and §172-38.A §172-38.D and §172-38.F the Village Zoning Code (the “Code”) to allow the construction of a 864 sq. ft. detached three (3) car garage, when the Code requires a maximum of 400 sq. ft. The garage would also be in front of the dwelling when the Code prohibits the same. Finally, the proposed garage exceeds the permitted height by 2.5 ft.
Stephen Johnson and Robert Christensen- 44 River Ave- Applicants are requesting the following variances from and §172-7.C(1) of the Village Zoning Code (the “Code”) to allow the construction of a larger, replacement, wood deck: (1) within 2.0 ft of the rear property line when the Code requires a 50 ft setback, (2) within 8.2 ft of one side yard when the Code requires a minimum of 20 feet, and (3) to allow both side yard setbacks to equal only 15.2 ft when the Code requires a minimum of 50 ft.
