ATTN: VILLAGE OF CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON RESIDENTS, FAMILIES AND GUESTS:

As you all are aware of, there is a substantial Snowstorm forecasted for the area which is reported to start this upcoming Sunday morning, January 25, 2026 and run through Monday, January 26, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REGARDING PARKING ON PUBLIC ROADWAYS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON DURING SNOWSTORMS:

Pursuant to Cornwall-on-Hudson Village Code #155-35 Owner to move vehicle impeding snow removal:

The owner of or the person in charge of any automobile, truck or other vehicle parked or standing on any public road or street within the corporate limits of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, shall move same out of the path of any vehicle or equipment engaged or used in the operation of plowing snow or of removing snow from such public road or street so as not to interfere with, impede, obstruct, hinder, interrupt or delay such operation of plowing or removing snow; and it shall be unlawful for such owner or person to fail or refuse to move such automobile, truck or other vehicle.

Due to the predicted severity of this snowstorm, it’s highly recommended to please “stay- off” the roadways during this event.

The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., Police Department will have additional police officers working during this snowstorm event.
